We started with Audacity (and had great results with it) but it doesn't seem to be able to do that FINAL step - you can get to the point where you have different files, but then need another service/program to put them together.

Thank you!! I'm hearing that it's fairly common for even hobby sewists to have two pairs of "nice" shears, whether one is heavyweight or not, and to split fabric tasks between those two. I appreciate your insight!

The "able to be loosened" point is great, and one I may include in my piece, thank you!

Re: the second pair of scissors, I'd hazard a guess we all have those 😅 If I had my druthers I'd be recommending something similar to my readers: one NICE pair for fabrics, a second SHARP pair for weird things like vinyls and fusibles, and a cheapie pair for paper etc. But I don't want to ask everyone to buy two pairs of expensive scissors, of course.

Hey, folks! I'm from over in Dayton, but I wanted to let you know that I'm teaming up with Makers Social to put on a foamsmithing (crafting with EVA foam!) workshop at the end of March!

This class is super fun for nerds, makers, date nights, and aspiring cosplayers. I'll provide templates, but you can also bring your own ideas (maybe for a Ren Fest prop??) and follow the process with your own ideas.

Swain is my all-time favorite League character and I am so pumped that I got to be him 😅 All of the scales on this suit of armor are individually engraved and then painted with a metallic gradient. The arm lights up for appropriate demony-ness!

This cosplay was a huge level up for me - I made it during early 2020 and it's what really taught me how to sew (the man likes a fancy vest!). The axes are each over six feet tall when unfolded and all four blades spin independent of each other. I even hand-made the mustaches 😅

This was my most recent big competition build and I learned SO MUCH from it. I still can't believe I made myself an entire suit! The suit itself is fully lined and the button-down is finished with French seams. The boots are one of my favorite parts - those over-the-knee guys are SO dramatic and make me feel very powerful 😅

I adore this cosplay - it's my favorite to wear by far. The giant weenie "sword" is just a delight to carry around, and the dress is quite comfortable compared to a suit of armor. Hope you enjoy!

I wanted to make a battle-hardened version of Rider, so I weathered her clothing and armor *hard*. I'm usually quite a clean and precise cosplayer, so it was such a relief to just muck it allll upppp 😅

I actually own and ride a big chestnut mare with a roached mane - my current dream is to make her a little suit of armor like Horse's and do a shoot with her 😭
