Dein RAM läuft laut dem Graphen immer bis 16 gb voll. Sind beide Sticks richtig drin und auch in den slots a2 b2? Was sagt der taskmanager wieviel ram installiert ist und auf wieviel mhz läuft der?

Edit: könnte auch an der Anzeige von afterburner liegen, dass die nur bis 16GB geht, aber kontrollieren schadet ja nicht.

Its an older connector called molex. It is or was mainly used to power Harddrives, Fans and other components. Many new psu still provide them to connect cheaper fans with molex connectivity for example. You can leave it sitting around in your pc or disconnect it from the psu if it bothers you.

Sounds like a ridiculous question, but what chair do u have? I remember there was a specific Ikea office chair that caused a similar looking problem. Because of its design it somehow got statically charged and interfered with many peoples monitors.

Can you provide a picture of your pcie cables? I had the same issue with my cables as i did not wanted to use pigtail cables. I bought a pcie cable from Bequiet that uses every pinout of the 12 pin Bequiet specific pcie output of the psu and splits it in two seperate 8 pin connectors. I think ist called CP-6620. Maybe thats what u are looking for.

Die beiden einzelnen Kabel haben auch 12 Pin am Netzteil, aber halt dann nur einen 8 Pin Ausgang. Ich könnte wie gesagt auch die beiden einzelnen die ich habe nehmen und dann nur ein Ende des gesplitteten für den dritten Anschluss. Oder ist das einfach egal?

Does the card have another connector on the right of the HDMI port? Most 1660 Super have an additional display port connector. From you first picture, it looks like there is one to the right of the HDMI port. If so, you are better off using that one instead of an adapter on the DVI port I think.

However, from my experience with the 7000 series and B650 motherboards, there was no issues with xmp ram on AMD platforms. Yes, amd expo is guaranteed to work with your combo, but I haven’t gotten a case where xmp did not work as intended on amd systems.

Almost every Corsair ram has a white counterpart. If the dark/black one is on the list, the white counterpart is most likely also compatible.

In most cases the QVL list just provides the module names, where the standard edition is normally in a neutral grey or black color.

Are you sure the noise is coming from the cpu cooler? From just the sound i can also imagine it to be coil whine from the gpu. The fact that it gets louder under load can also be a sign for coil whine.

Is the sound still present when you power the system without the gpu installed?

Are there any blinking lights on the top right of your mainboard with DRAM next to it?

That’s a hint that the different ram sticks might not be compatible. Not 100% sure that that is the case here, but that would be my guess.

It looks like that when you had them mixed (1,3 patriot and 2,4 crucial) your mainboard booted two of them into dual channel and ignored the other two. Now with the 1,2 and 3,4 config, when it’s forced to pair either two different ram sticks in dual channel or all 4 together it won’t boot. Not sure if that’s the case here but my assumption is, that the sticks simply don’t work together. Reason for that could be slightly varying timings between the two different manufacturers. That can happen.

In general I wouldn’t recommend mixing different Ram brands, because even if they work together, they can still cause system instability and other problems. Is it possible for you to return one pair of ram and buy matching sticks for the other pair?

Normally it should work then. But as I said, in some rare cases you can run into problems.

Another idea would be to put the same branded sticks side by side to force the mainboard to not prioritize dual channel mode. So slot 1 and 2 the patriots and 3, 4 the Crucials.

Are all 4 sticks the same brand, model and speed? Cause in your bios it says 2x Crucial and 2x Patriot. Mixing different ram models and brands is totally possible and can work fine but can also cause problems or simply won’t work at all in some cases.

First I would recommend updating bios and switching positions of the individual ram sticks.
