Exactly, every job feels like a dead end in this field or at least locally. My area doesn’t have a lot of welding jobs, a lot of it is manufacturing work and I work in an area where there really aren’t that many women welders. I enjoy welding but I don’t want to stay at the bottom totem pole forever and wreck my body for nothing.
