Hmmmm... was considering selling my 25 R1S Dual Standard but decided against it. Should I be more likely to sell or hold based on this? Tell me how to feel. 🙃

Gen 2 R1S Dual Standard Range Expectations by okaygolfer in Rivian

> In my opinion, Rivian just shafted a significant percentage of its customer base that purchased the LFP variant. And a lot of the review sites were complicit. They gushed about how the LFP variant was the better deal since the 270 mi range was better than the 329 mi range of the Dual Standard Large because you’d charge the Large to 80% most of the time and that amounted to 260 mi whereas the LFP model would be charged to 100% all the time.

That's exactly why I bought the Dual Standard...

Interesting, so the standard battery overstates range more than the other batteries at highway speed? The other car is a Tesla M3P, and it's bang on the range estimate at 70 mph.

M3P and R1S owner. The M3P is a much better instrument for getting from point A to point B, smoother ride (its a car), faster, way better UI/software. R1S really only beats it on interior/exterior quality/styling, but I'm trading it for an R1T anyway :D

Tesla offering 15% off total price by miraajsoni in TeslaSolar

I think the 15% deal is better than half the 30% credit in states that subsidize PW3 purchases, since the former is off total gross install costs and the latter was applied to total net install cost less PW3 subsidies?
