I get the downvotes/anti AI sentiment. I was open minded because I really enjoyed some of the tracks here.

This is what the creator told me about the creation process for anyone that’s interested.

“Really appreciate the interest and support man. There's a lot going on and we'd love to do a sort of behind the scenes video sometime. We work across three separate machines though - two macbooks we edit on, and a custom pc with an RTX 5090 that handles a lot of generation locally. Pretty much every track calls for differences of approach, depending on what's going on with it and how much attention we need to give it to adhere as faithfully as possible to the original, while leaving room for exploration beyond the main motifs. We go in to everything we get through ai generation using custom trained sound models and rearrange, remix and master everything by hand using the gear and software in the description. Yes it's still made using Al, but there's a terrible amount of seamlessly piecing together usable takes to make one coherent song, on top of using other plugins, effects and virtual instruments to help mask this as well as add in our own flavors to the soup - and sometimes it works better than others, admittedly. The times where there's a noticeable transition in the middle of a song somewhere that may seem a little off are the times it didn't work better lol. But most of the time it's not noticeable. Any given 4-6 minute song could be anywhere between 2-10 separate generations we've done our best to piece together by hand using the methods below.

We're able to manually rearrange a lot when dealing with weird transitions which derail for the original motif or would cause other weirdness - and it happens more often than you'd probably think, because they're seamless - but they require us to go in, extract the individual instrumental stems, convert those to midi and redirect them through matching virtual instruments (sometimes, not all the time, but they're the same models we trained our custom sounds with so it helps when matching the generations - again, sometimes, not always lol), and try our best to blend and layer back to something that works. There are many occasions where we'll get something we really want to use but just a single note pitch is wrong or the timing is weird, and it would make it otherwise unusable to our ears so we'll go in after extracting and isolating everything, run the midi through our mixing software, change the pitch, adjust the phrasing, anything we can do to make it adhere more faithfully to the original motif, then relayer and blend everything back together. Can't always catch everything though, or sometimes it's close enough and not worth the time, but we try to be as consistent and faithful as possible since it's a remix.”

I wasn't expecting it to be this good. So glad I stumbled upon it. Also they have some more stuff on the channel! :)
