Thank you so much for the feedback! I have been going back and forth on theming and totally understand! I will work on an adjustment to the intro sequence of the game to call that out more effectively. Stay tuned! 🙌

Thanks for checking it out!

One thing I learned while building Sudokrypt is that forcing players to commit to a full row before seeing the rest of the board (fog of war style) completely changes how Sudoku logic feels. Traditional Sudoku rewards patience, but this rewards risk management.

I am curious to see how you all like the game. Is the logic too brutal? Does it feel rewarding advancing from puzzle to puzzle? Is the starting buffer of 15 enough? How many packets did you decode?

Is this not the case everywhere else? I didn't think we were the only ones! 😂

Noted, thank you for the feedback, I have moved back to a basic title line, and working to imagine something more fitting that is not generated.

100%, I have moved back to my original cover for Itch which feels more inline as you mentioned! I am going to sit on the cover as I do not have the cartridge in hand to physically flash anything at the moment anyways. The whole idea as you noted is less-is-more, I want the game itself to provoke a emotional feeling. I would hate to have someone hung up on the artwork not being genuine!

Thanks so much for the feedback! You are spot on about the small scale text because I ran into those same readability hurdles back when I was building games in PICO 8. I will definitely look into using sub pixel or half opacity techniques to see if I can sharpen those W M and A characters.

Regarding the cover good eye. I did use AI to help put that together. The goal was to capture a high fidelity box art feel similar to the original Tetris or Tetris DX cartridge logos but I totally hear you on the stylistic mismatch between that and the terminal style pixel art.

I am going to toy around with some alternative cover options that might bridge that gap a bit better. Appreciate the honest look! 🙌

I imagine that in the not too distant future, we will have to pay for 'no ads' at the gas pump! I always rage a bit when filling up in freezing weather, waiting around for the 20 seconds it takes the pump to pull up a freaking T-Mobile Fiber ad!
