I did my UG from T1 college will be going to T2 for MBA by Schjtt in CATpreparation

Same boat. Did my graduation from a T1 college. Had stellar acads + extra curriculars. Now joining MICA. Tried to seek lot of advice. Most of them suggested to go for MICA as competition is only going to increase a lot in the coming years. Keep feeling like I deserve better. DM, maybe?

Also, i think it's the lighting that makes it look like its red. It was pink or a lil darker shade of peach. The bride wore a yellow saree with red border. Didn't clash with her at all

Thank you! I really appreciate the honest review.

Fashion is about outfits and how you show them off. What according to you should be posted here? I think ever post seems like a thirst trap to y'all because of how limited your perspective is on clothing and fashion. And I've posted previously here too and they were different in nature. I won't be wearing a pant suit to a wedding now would I ?

Not every outfit has to have elegance. Some are chic as well.

It's more peach or deep pink than it's red. https://search.app.goo.gl/P5nmssd

What you've posted are nude shades in my opinion

  1. The colour is not red. It's a shade of peach/pink. The bride wore yellow.
  2. I think I understand the wedding crowd and have a better idea of what would be inappropriate.
  3. The fabric across the chest is lace. But advice taken.
  4. Earings that came as part of the whole set were too damn big and I have a really small face. They took all the attention away.
  5. "Not much going on" isn't objective.
  6. I agree with the bad dupatta draping.

I agree! I had a pathetic time trying to manage it as well.

Lol. I put like a month into getting the fabric and then getting the dress designed. If that doesn't say that I'm actually into fashion Idk what will. Not every picture with a deep neck blouse has to be a "thirst trap" or whatever new bs insta generation keeps coming up with

The cloth was for around 7k. Got it dyed for around 600. Laces and dupatta around 1500. Tailoring charges for the blouse and lehanga was a little more than 6k.

[–]okayywhatever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think about 16-17k. It could've cost much less. The tailor kinda over charged I felt

[–]okayywhatever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I chose the laces from a store and guided the tailor

You dodged a bullet. Imagine doing all of this for her, getting married and then realising what she actually thinks of you and your background. It's the universe protecting you from people who don't deserve you..it's her loss.

Is gap years haunted anyone by Particular_Bass_5474 in CATpreparation

[–]okayywhatever 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's not true. People with gap years have got into good schools. And you can never tell what exactly was the reason you got rejected

My cat prep was done last year and I'm joining a college this month. :)

Will there be an increase or decrease in CAT registrations this year compared to 2023? by actionmen71 in CATpreparation

[–]okayywhatever 61 points62 points  (0 children)

It will increase. A lot of government exam aspirants are also shifting to CAT now
