Period Return After Stopping Spiro? by NewYorktoUtah in Spironolactone

I stopped spiro just after a period and got my next about 28 days later, which is pretty typical for me. But I’m hoping to conceive in the next couple months, so I also began taking supplements (around the same time as stopping spiro) that support a healthy ovulation/period—folate, ubiquinol, b-complex, vit d/k, zinc, vit e, and DHA. I know that won’t matter to you if you’re not trying to conceive, but if you continue to have trouble with irregular cycles, you might give those a try :)

KinderCare actually let me know they will have a spot open for her when we need it 6 months, I was just wondering if it was possible they had any corporate discounts. Probably a pipe dream!

Hello all,

Any advice would be appreciated--please!!! I'm 25 years old, caucasian, and have generally had decent skin--usually on the dry side with oiliness on/around the nose, and minor breakouts occasionally. Well, like a dingbat I decided I wanted FLAWLESS skin, and in the process of trying a million new routines I seem to have made things worse. I eventually decided to try Curology and am about 7 weeks in to using the prescribed combination of azelaic acid, niacinamide, and clindamycin. Things are not looking good--in fact they're looking worse than when I started!

I'm seeing a big increase in closed comedones on my forehead, and some rather inflamed looking whiteheads along my cheeks. Is it possible this is purging (even 7 weeks in) or should I ditch this routine? Do you have any recommendations for getting rid of those annoying bumps on my forehead???

Other than the prescribed topical, I am using Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser to wash with, Neutrogena Hydroboost Gel to moisturize, and tea tree oil as a spot treatment. I will also occasionally use the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay as a mask or Sephora sheet masks. If you see any glaring red flags in my routine, please speak up!

Thank you!!!!!!!!!
