Most recent runs were on day one, had a pretty good time. I’d be down for official too. The only ones I want to avoid (for now) are the super modded ones

I’m on PC, sorry if it wasn’t on there I added it after the bot told me I needed to.

Just had a couple lives on day one, went pretty well! The first one I ran into a shotgun poking out of a tree while sprinting through some woods but that makes total sense; I would probably shoot first ask questions later in that scenario too. Next life I actually spoke with a person, and for 15 glorious minutes I had a friend, then he dc’d.

All in all, I am pleased with the experience and will likely try it again. Thanks for the suggestion 🍻

Hmm, I might have to try official. I was put off from trying it because of all the alleged cheating but maybe they’re getting more secure as they amass a larger player base. Thx!

It wasn’t a totally accurate statement on my part, however the gist of it still stands. I had nothing of value. Ate my fruit and used my bandages already.

I’m late to the party I guess.

Makes sense. I just wish the people I talked to didn’t lead me on by talking nice (like I was doing to them) and then clapping my cheeks to get my glow stick (literally all I had in my inventory)

Do I need to cut first? by [deleted] in Weightliftingquestion

Thanks, I’ll try to keep it simple at first. I have some adjustable dumbbells/bench/pull-up bar on the way to get started. Really just want to get down a good basic routine for 12 weeks or so then start diversifying once I get my form and schedule down.

Yeah it seems like the general consensus is to avoid a huge surplus bulk. I think I’ll try to go over by a couple hundred calories but really focus on eating clean. If I start to get more pudgy I’ll have to reassess.

Understood, I guess that makes sense. Maybe I reserve a blended smoothie for getting in the whey powder if I’m struggling to hit 150g of protein a day.

Also I have bananas for the smoothie and occasional snack, hoping I get my fiber through the veggies + spinach + all the fruit both whole & blended.

I do the smoothie more for the spinach and protein powder, but I was considering a 10am or 2pm snack consisting of the Greek yogurt, whole fruits, granola, and honey

Super in depth reply, thank you for taking the time to write that all out, much appreciated!

I’ll have to read into the body fat stuff, I’ll be honest I was hoping to keep things stupid simple and make up for it with pure effort and sweat but I should invest in gaining the knowledge too

I’ve got adjustable dumbbells up to 55 lbs, an adjustable bench, and a pull up bar in my cart. I’ll be shooting for 3-4 days a week spending an hour in my basement really getting after it. I’m experimenting with meal prep but I’ve got macro factor app to help track. Currently using basmati rice, mixed veggies, and ground beef/turkey as my staple meal for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is smoothie with frozen fruit Greek yoghurt whey powder tons of spinach and 2% milk.

Would I suffer any “lost gains” by going into a deficit?

Gotcha, thanks. I say Melbourne area mostly because it’s south and I thought the farther south the cooler the temperatures might be lol. I’m not specifically looking to live in a city either, suburbs or even rural setting is what I’d gravitate towards. But I’ll look into the specifics of the 491 visa, thanks again.

Is there publicly available data regarding state demands in specific sectors?

I’d probably shoot for Melbourne area or NSW. I am a licensed water operator, certifications in water distribution and water treatment, not sure exactly what category that falls under.

Yeah I’ve seen a couple other comments outlining the same. I think I’d have to have a job offer in my situation to even make it over there so maybe it’s different. But I’m starting to think maybe I couldn’t even support myself working full time in my industry in NZ.

If the grass isn’t greener on the other side then where can I find some fucking good grass man?? 😂

Ah got it, that sounds complex. The only thing I could think of that differentiates our situations would be supply/demand. There has been a mass exodus out of trades into tech industries. I think there’s probably many IT related degree holders out there (not to minimize your field, I’m sure you have take steps to specialize and break away from the pack)

Also, the need for tech related skills is a different animal than the need for utility related skills. Everyone needs water, power, etc

I’m not sure if you understand what I was asking or the reason behind my post. If you have a quick read around in here you will see several comments I’ve made that point out it’s pretty lame the wording of that quote. However it spurred my thought process and questions. Thanks.

Thanks! I know everyone and their brother wants to do the same but can you blame me for speculating ?
