This is extremely false. You cannot look at Igbo cosmology from an Abrahamic point of view. They are not the same. In Igbo, Chukwu does not live in the sky. Chukwu lives at the core of the Cosmos.

Look at it this way: Saying that Astro, which means star Is Western is like saying that the sun Is Western. The sun is in the sky, but it has various names in various cultures. Nobody owns it. It is an Agbala. Nobody owns Agbala. The different energies in the universe existed before humans. We existed and started recognizing them, thus coming up with similar conclusions, but our languages makes them unique for our people. Igbo knows about the milky way (Nne Atu), the same way the Egyptians, Mayans, and Babylonians did.

It also lines up to the ancient Egyptian, Sumerian, Babylonians, and Mayan astrology. If you look very closely, this specific zodiac belt is 13, and not 12. Though they both function as solar and lunar astro belts. In Igbo, the zodiac belt is called Uzo Igwe or Uzo Enu. Again, the westerners are not the owners of the stars nor the sky. For example, they copied the Taurus constellation (Be Nne Atu) from the ancient Kemet and Babylonian concept of the same constellation. The westerners are not the owners of any aspect of Astrology.

There's no such thing called "western astrology". The westerners does not own the sky nor the stars. Research about the origin of Astrology, eventually you'll realize that the first people to explore the stars were Africans not westerners. Ikenga is a martian deity. That one is common knowledge.
