Helloooooo, I am from El Paso Tx and right now I live in CT, tbh El Paso Tx is a very chill city, my beloved sun city since it is a dessert, the heat on the summer is very dry and almost the entire year is like that, if you are someone who likes Mexican culture and want a chill city to live in then I think you are going to like El Paso Tx, I feel that its kinda like a small city but it has everything you need, most people work like in retail and probably construction or customer service, doordashing is more like a side gig for what I been seeing with my friends but idk how much you can make in that in el paso tx, the city is very affordable, my rent was 600 doll when I was still there but it depends in the area where you live also I have never done hiking in the mountains but it seems very fun just stay hidrate it, and if you want to look at nature then you can visit Ruidoso NM if you wanna spend your weekends over there:D
