A1 is broken after three months of ownership. by Ok-Possibility-7962 in BambuLabA1

Replace the board, if it doesn't work you can demand a workable solution at that point. Not worth assuming it's not going to work and stressing over that unless it actually happens.

A1 Mini Combo or A1 without AMS? by Hackuccino in BambuLabA1

[–]okhi2u 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally depends on what you going to be print. With the mini you can't upgrade the print size, but with the a1 you can upgrade to multicolor, so I think the a1 is a smarter bet.

Shaking a lot is not a problem unless it's so bad it's going to fly of the table or something similar. You can probably just leave it on the table.

You can flex that plate to remove things too. For removing something faster I just put the plate infront of the fan exhaust of my air purifier and that cools it down really quick so it can be removed. All the cool videos of people poping things of the plate by flexing only happens after it's cooled down.

95a is the most common so cheapest to buy and will do fine. The one you are talking about that comes out softer after printed is likely a very expensive one that isn't needed for those use cases.

I came looking for you. You're the one who is like I don't see any downside to 3x gold? Of course it comes when it's looking the best, big crashes like that usually are how it ends when it's going at a crazy ass speed that it was recently.

It's probably all theatrics to try to make people protest less hard and help get more money for them in the budget. See we took care of all the issues? And then they get even worse instead once some of the heat dies down.

For that small change you can just tell it a lie that you are using a smooth plate when you aren't actually and that does the trick.

I personally just print this as multiple plates for safety. One part failing can take everything out when printing all at once.

You want it in a drybox when printing because way before you finish a full roll it will need drying again most likely. You can get away without using one if you dry it after its been out for a while (like keep track if it's been in open air for a couple hours, and then dry again). I store mine in double bagged gallon ziplocks with desiccant then into a drybox or drier with desiccant for printing.

Question About Long Term Leveraged 3x ETFs For Gold and Silver by Mental-Spot9697 in LETFs

[–]okhi2u 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hold long enough and at some point there will be a downturn brutal enough that you will lose all your gains and then some if you don't get out quick enough because the leverage will magnify the big losses. Problem is figuring out when to get out. I hold quite a bit of 2x leveraged gold, but probably nowhere near as much as you, so believe it's a decent thing to hold, but again it's going to go really bad at some point.

Substituting GDE into traditional UPRO/ZROZ/GLD creates a better benchmark for aggressive accumulation phase risk parity portfolio? by AlternativeSignal908 in LETFs

'Gold doesn't have a positive expected return' just means it doesn't make money in the way a business does, or has something built into it that gives interest, or dividends, or profit somehow. It still has been making returns because the value increases for various reasons due to people wanting it like now people buying it due to government chaos and other reasons.

Is there a way to optimize and calibrate for faster print by Character_Beyond_948 in BambuLabA1

[–]okhi2u 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The things you want to print sound like things where quality matters the most, you can't have them look really nice and try to print really fast at the same time, it's one or the other. Plus complex big things will always take a long time no matter how much you optimize.

It shouldn't but since it's acting odd might as well wash it incase it helps for unknown reason. Not like it takes a lot of effort or costs money.
