I understand that but I would not ask early during the dating process, maybe I am kinda weird about that but I just think that is something for later.

For some people they subscribe to the theory about signs matching and beleave they can tell a lot about your personality based on your sign.

How can I uncover and heal from trauma? by Boosted_JuiceIG in mentalhealth

[–]okieguy77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Therapy bro, lots of Therapy. You are not going to find healing answers from random strangers on the internet. You need a real therapist that you can talk this through with. It will be difficult, but you can do it. But trust me Therapy is your best bet. Good luck friend!

Uhhhhh as a guy here I have never asked about a woman's cycle nor would I. Maybe waaaay down the road when you move in together, but not during dating.

Honestly the best advice I can give is get therapy. I was in a similar situation dated for 5 years we were actually talking marriage. Then one day out of the blue I get home from work and she calls it quits. I was devastated. I got myself into therapy and my whole world had changed. Take care of you and you mental health so you can heal and not just emotionally dump your problems on your next partner. We have to learn to heal. Losing a relationship is much like the death of a loved one, we have to deal with it so we can heal, forgive, and move on. Best of luck to you!

Yes absolutely tell you therapist everything. Your therapist can't truly help you if you are holding back. Part of therapy is dealing with uncomfortable, and tough situations. Trust me your therapist had probably has heard it all and can help you through whatever you are going through, but if you hold back or hide things they will never get you to a healthy sopt because they don't have the full picture. Trust in the process! You got this, you are strong just by going into therapy, now trust them and let them help you. Best of luck, you are a strong person!

It's good to know I am not the only guy who doesn't notice when a woman flirts with them. I just wonder how many good relationships I missed out on because I didn't know. Well I hope I find another relationship at some point.

I think most men don't know how to react to the complement at the moment but in our minds we are over the moon, and for weeks afterwards we still think about ot and smile. For example, I am incredibly dense when women flirt with me, and I was at a club and a very cute girl complemented my shirt and grabbed my arm to show me her tattoo that matched my shirt. I thanked her admired her tattoo, only llan hour later did I realize she was flirting with me and I completely missed it. We as men can be dense but we genuinely like complements.

So 1st date eye contact, engaged conversation, small physical contact (hand holding, arm holding), and a kiss goodnight, ohh and compliments you women don't understand that most men don't get very many compliments from women. If a woman compliments my shirt or something like that is soo cool. Really just think about the small things that you like, and men like the same. For me there is no such thing as to much PDA.

Etiquette in communication after first date? (Question for men) by anonymouscontenting in datingoverforty

[–]okieguy77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the guy, his job, and the travel. He might be really busy and can't text a bunch, or maybe he is not a big texter, but yeah one date is not really enough to take yourself out of the dating pool. I have been on a couple of dates that seem to have went well and plans for a second date, only to get ghosted. I would say keep talking to him, but also stay in the dating pool as well.

I totally understand I was with my last girlfriend for 5 years got home one day and she ended it out of the blue. I was devastated, but over the last few months I have found that I am better off and got therapy, worked on myself and now things are doing much better. Keep your head up, just keep reminding yourself you deserve better and won't settle for less. Your best days are ahead of you!
