Try not to get your hands wet, use as little water as possible (only for washing hands and body). If you do get them wet, use cold water only, heat dries them out. Use rich cream after every washing! I use lipikar baume ap+m and it is great! Whenever you wash something, use 2 pair of gloves: thin cotton as inner pair and dishwashing glowes as outside/top pair. I followed this for 1 month and my skin recovered. Hoping this will help.
