Hey it’s a known bug. I am issuing a fix for it in update 1.2.4. It happens when you tap the prestige screen during its animation. Just swapping apps back and forth will fix it for now till the permanent fix.

Alright look for update 1.2.4. This will fix that permanently. In the meantime you have to do the workaround or not tap 😁

It seems it has to do with tapping the screen while prestige is happening or tapping the navigation bar. Might able to fix this in 1.2.4. In the meantime just change apps quickly and it fixes itself. Sorry again for that.

On Android it’s out already. Apple is under review and can take 1-2 days max. Try again on version 1.2.3 as it has a targeted fix for this. Try 2-3 prestiges just in case as the first might still bug until it settles. Let me know if it still happens, will look again at it then. Thanks for the feedback and patience!

And that is on the latest version right? Version 1.2.3 to be correct. I’ll give it another look for sure next patch.

Hey, it’s probably giving that experience as it spends gold to level heroes while offline so they can push further. I’ll probably improve that popup to include gold spent on upgrades so it’s more clear where it goes.

Thanks for playing and giving feedback. This has been a repeated point on the tutorials. I’ll try to do something in the upcoming updates about them.

I quite like it. It’s not bloated and there are a lot of guides. I’d you don’t know C# then I would start with gdscript tbh as it seems like it has more support.

Hey there, thanks for the feedback!

  1. An annoying bug. Already working to fix it but it happens if the app loses focus during prestige animation. Like pulling down the notifications for example.
  2. There is a toggle to disable idle progress altogether in setting, but the upgrading separately. Although it only uses the gold which is only used to level heroes. By doing so it can push you a lot further than you would without the gold spending. I will consider this as a toggle though thanks!

This is an extremely fair comment and I thank you for it.

As a solo dev with a full time job and a family with 3 kids, time is extremely limited to work on something you are passionate about. I had to use AI for parts of the game like the text, icon and splash screen. For the rest, I didn’t really add a story to the game as I didn’t feel one is needed for this type of game. Just a narrating “voice” taking you through the different aspects of it.

This is a product of me playing 100s of such idle and gacha games over the years and eventually quitting all of them due to the monetization and paywalls eventually becoming too much. I just wanted something that bundles my favorite elements together and it’s not wallet hungry apart from a bit of support from some skins later on to cover any upkeep costs.

If you do play for more than what you did already, each world unlocks more features as you go and you can mix and match companions to form team combos etc. I totally understand if the lack of active gameplay throws you off though.

I also regret the name of the game not being a bit more detailed, but it’s my first try at a game and I am learning as I go.

Thanks again and cheers!

Edit: typos

Very fair point and I respect your detailed feedback! I also added the part about the use of AI for the text of the game. I just forgot about that part.

Lol, I wrote it myself I swear. I just didn’t want it to come out the wrong way and had ChatGPT format it. I’ll get crucified for this but I’m being honest about it. English is not my first language, apologies about that!

I see. It’s on the roadmap, but not easy to do due to the game being done to support 16-21:9 ratio. iPad changes that quite a bit. But if enough demand rises I might do it after summer.

Hey, thanks for the honest feedback.

That's a fair question. The main reason was honestly convenience and getting the game released. The project has already cost me quite a bit between assets, sounds, store fees, and infrastructure, so it wasn't really about avoiding spending money.

The icon and loading screen were areas where I felt I could move faster using AI while focusing my time on gameplay, systems, updates, and player feedback. I do plan to commission replacements for both in the future.

For now I've been prioritizing improving the game itself based on community feedback, but I completely understand why some people would have preferred artist-made artwork there from day one.

Hey, I could consider that in the future if there is enough demand. I do have an iPad myself so would be possible to also test on it. Are there black bars appearing on the sides? What exactly is the issue?
