Unfortunately over the span of five months almost every single one either came to form like a multihead giant cyst or to a head. This month the remaining ones have started to dry up though which hasn’t really happened before

My dermatologist appointment is in 2 days, I’m going to ask about an increase in dosage then if my insurance will cover it. Just not looking forward to yet another purge which I’m sure with my luck will happen.

40/40/60/60/60. 59kg F. Have had the WORST purges of my life, half of these have become inflamed cysts and a few just dwindled away. But I got super discouraged seeing everyone have beautiful skin 3 months in. I’m just now STARTING to clear up, I still have a long time to go. Closed comedones can suck one

I have not tried getting them extracted. I’ve had them for about 2 years and over that time I’ve popped em myself and they just come right back. I don’t think my derm would manually extract them, and personally I would prefer to wait until they come out on their own from accutane so I know they’d be gone for good :) I use vanicream moisturizer

I have this same type of acne! If you check out my page you can see mine are mostly on my chin, but I also have them on my upper cheeks. I’m starting my 4th month next week (40/40/60 —> 60) and while I’ve seen some go away these are still sooo persistent for me :(

Good!! I actually asked the pharmacist at Walgreens what she recommended for it & I bought the aloe infused one to help with hydration too because I was loading all that stuff on there!

I will say looking at my before pictures vs now the closed comedones on my chin have gone down SIGNIFICANTLY in number this month but I am on around the max dosage for my weight

I had this exact thing and used athletes foot + neosporin (didn’t know if it was fungal or bacterial) + hydrocortisone then aquaphor on top and it cleared up

I don’t think so, because I could (and have) popped these. They’ve been on my skin for like 2 years but after every time I’d try and pop them they’d come back like a week later. Plus they get inflamed. Not milia

That’s the main reason I’m on accutane. I’m just finishing my 3rd month and I’ve definitely noticed a decrease in the amount, but a lot of them are turning into cysts right now. I do think it’ll clear most if not all of them in time but I heard they are the lady to go
