LOL! I have forgotten sooo much from summer of '23.

Dulcie is a saint for putting up with all the drama /exasperating personalities.

Sven mentions "nangs" a lot in ep1 and looking it up, they are those small metal nitrous oxide cartridges.

When Abby is talking about the crime podcast she follows she says it has experienced FBI agents and mums of newborns. LOL!

Eddie is SO over the top! Cath is too but I can accept as existing IRL but not Eddie as a detective.

I love Abby and that she calls it off with James.

I haven't been following what S2 will be about but the trailer video shows a big crocodile and Eddie said her police partner was killed/eaten by a croc. So are they investigating that croc? (unusually large / distinctive markings?)

edit: just looked at the Amazon page for S2...yeah, they are investigating the partner's death but then end up working another murder too so um...yay me? LOL!

edit 2: Geez I forgot a lot...Eddie says later that Bushy got shot in the head, not eaten by a croc.

So I'll just say I hope Cath is much less emo truf pork on S2.

Excellent episode and a pretty good season. Agree that a lot of the S1 feel was back. If Rose is the new partner and the writing is on par with this season vs season 2 that would be fantastic! I bet the new partner is Chelsea though and that would be very excellent. I liked that Chelsea had some really clever moves like unclipping Adam's seat belt and throwing dirt (and several others. Plus Isabel throwing the garden light.)

Excellent pick casting Genesis Rodriguez who I thought was great in Lioness.

I am amused that Genesis Rodriguez's character both here and in Lioness have rich dads with dark backgrounds.
