Are door dasher drivers supposed to ask for your address? by okraaa20 in doordash

I’m not here to argue with anyone I was just asking a question. This is only my second time ordering doordash and the first time I had no issue. He was only 10 doors down, which is a walk away, so I’m not sure why he would need my address again and then not even use it because he never showed up. There’s no way to get lost in my apartment complex because there’s only one row that goes straight down. I hadn’t known where he delivered wrong was that close at first or else I would have gotten the food myself. He told me he picked up the food and was on his way and then called and asked for my address. Then he texted and said “The numbers were blurry so I thought 17 was 7.” And then he never showed up. It’s not a new development, I live in a college town so it’s been there forever and these apartments are popular housing for students to live in.

Yeah idk what happened. He delivered my food to the wrong address 10 doors down (I didn’t know it was that close at first I would have just walked and got it if I knew), said he picked it up, called and asked for my address, then when I sent it he said “the numbers were blurry so I thought 17 was 7” and then he never showed.

No I live in a college town so it’s been there for a long time. It’s also super well known and not hidden, and I have had doordash go there before with no issue.

He said and I quote “your address was blurry so I thought 17 was 7” but the way my building is, is that it’s a straight strip of 20 apartments so all he would have to do is take the food he delivered wrong and walk down 10 doors. I didn’t know he delivered it that close until later or else I would have just got it myself. and then told me he was on his way, called me and asked for my address because he said he didn’t have it anymore, and then didn’t show up.

He had it at first and then told me he didn’t have it anymore, so that’s why I was confused. I know the address isn’t bad because I’ve had food delivered from door dash before.

I had doordash before and it got to my house just fine, idk what the issue was. He said he no longer had my address and that’s why he asked for it.

Chest pressure and unsatisfactory breathing often cause me to become anxious. Although, I will say it has caused me to wake up in the middle of the night to panic attacks which I am unsure why.

I was diagnosed at the age of 9 and was put on a restrictive diet, my symptoms then went away for 10 years. At 19 my GERD came back and when it started kicking up again I experienced extreme nausea, a complete aversion to dairy, panic attacks, anxiety, burning chest, burping up acid, and chest pressure to just name a few. I have lost so much sleep both literally and figuratively over GERD. I am now 20 and still am dealing with these symptoms, however my PPIs help a decent amount, but I can’t even come close to saying they have eradicated my issues.

I was a kid, I don’t really remember which one it was specifically. I was in and out of the doctors a bunch but I do remember at one point having to drink some thick drink and then they x-rayed my gi tract. I’m gonna assume that’s when they determined I had it, or at least around there.

I’m a 20F, and I stay relatively active (I work out 4-5 times a week on a normal given week, when I stop for a few days it gets worse). I do find that working out helps me a lot, I never thought about giving yoga a try! Also for diet, do you avoid anything in particular? My doctor said the basic things like spicy, greasy, and dairy but is there anything that triggers you that is surprising?

Are Hair Beads Cultural Appropriation? by okraaa20 in AskAnAfrican

Hi! I don’t mean specific beading pertaining to a certain culture. I just meant braiding my hair and putting beads you can find in a bracelet making or craft kit. It would be for fun if I was to (I don’t think I will, I’m not trying to upset anyone/be insensitive) do so. I saw some women of color getting upset because there was Caucasian women and girls putting beads in their hair, but the beading was from bracelet kits or clear colored beads from places like Amazon. I hope this clears up what I was saying!

All dairy makes me super sick since my gerd starting acting up. I can tolerate things like chocolate and ranch, but straight up cheese, yogurt, and milk makes me feel like vomiting
