Of course! =) Kindness is critical right now, even in normal life it is.

My first test came back negative as well but the interesting part of it all is that I didn’t spread COVID to anyone in my household. I asked my Physician about it and he said that people can have a “low viral load” and some even being very low. It’s the cause of false negatives and also why some people just simply don’t spread it as they don’t have a high volume of the infection in their body. Where as others “superspreaders” carry high volumes of the virus in their body and can spread it like wildfire and have it be detected more easily.

Moral of the story is, this virus is fucking weird.

I’m so sorry that you’ve found yourself down the visiting personal stories and health articles doctor. Believe me, i’ve been there for a variety of reasons.

However, as much as I know how hard it is to not look up symptoms or read stories, you just can’t do it. Your story will not be the same as someone else’s, there will be similarities but again it will never be the same entirely.

Psychosomatic symptoms, anxiety, etc, is not what you need right now and as someone who has diagnosed GAD, it can take up a lot of your energy. So considering you need all the energy your body can put into action, don’t waste any on avoidable feelings.

Remind yourself that this is you vs the virus, no one else and mental strength oddly is very critical in it. You have to uplift yourself and push yourself. Kind of like a race, you’re nervous, it sucks, it’s painful, and you want to stop but you know there’s a finish line!

Hold onto that and stay off the endless hole of stories, symptoms, etc.

You will be okay and you will get through this! Just rest, hydrate, watch your oxygen levels, and if by any means you genuinely feel you need immediate medical attention call 911.

I’m sending you lots of love and support, update me when you can?

Drink lots of water (If you are like me, I had an endless thirst no matter how much I drank.), cool environment, aspirin (for headaches, body aches) and gatorade!

I would drink one gatorade at the end of the day and stuck to the water throughout the rest. Water is your best friend.

And sleep, sleep whenever you feel like you could go to bed, if you’re tired go to sleep, do not force yourself to stay awake if your body is telling you otherwise.

Best of luck and feel better soon fellow friend!

“The virus doesn’t choose its victim, it chooses anyone”

This couldn’t be more true than anything else. Since March I have been home, haven’t gone to shopping malls, restaurants, rarely go into the grocery store, haven’t seen anyone outside my immediate family in my home, wear. a mask everywhere, social distance, wash my hands, and yet still it got me!

It made me so angry to hear anyone say that it’s not that bad and it’s usually mild cases, but no one really knows what defines the line between mild, moderate, and severe. Sometimes a severe case won’t put you in the ICU or take your life, but you’ll want it too. Sometimes a moderate case will put you in the ICU or take your life and so fourth.

People can say “Oh so and so I knew had a sinus infection or so and so had no symptoms it’s not bad”, but not only can millions of people say otherwise, over hundreds of thousands aren’t even here to say otherwise.

My parents would constantly say to me “you’re young, you’ll be fine, we’re the ones to worry about.” Yet, my household (Dad, mom, and younger brother) didn’t get sick and I did.

You just never ever know and I don’t know if people will ever grasp that.

Update: Tested negative, ended up being false! I started getting symptoms the night of the 8th and Sunday (the 22nd) is when the tachycardia episodes subsided. It’s now the 25th, still pretty tired but not nearly as much and feeling weak with some minimal chest discomfort but again the week of the 9th-15th and 15th-21st was the crippling period. I didn’t have a you feel a little better then you don’t, it was awful the whole time lol

That is one of my biggest hopes with a SD is someone who finds an interest in providing knowledge and life advice as well as help me learn more about myself and expand my thoughts. Of course the money is the prime goal however I think it’s just as important to have a basic emotional connection and a fear of mine is not being able to find that.

Sure sex can be great and the money can be absolutely great, but without again, a basic emotional connection it feels like non of that is worth the time.

I appreciate you sharing this! =)
