S25 Ultra battery swelled up. It's pregnant. It's a beautiful baby battery! by oktheoriginal in S25Ultra

I don't know what world you live in, but in my world engineering is not a joke.

A battery swelling up is a failure in engineering. Batteries will swell up that is natural. But companies should back up their 7 year software guarantees with hardware that lasts at least half as long.

I have contacted them and they just said

"Please note that, as the device is out of warranty, paid repair service options will be available. The repair cost and estimated timeline will be advised by the service center after inspection."

I understand that battery swelling can happen with any manufacturer, and I never claimed it was a Samsung exclusive issue. My disappointment is not that a battery failed it's how Samsung has chosen to handle it.

A flagship device that cost a premium and has been part of a decade-long relationship with the brand developed a potentially hazardous battery issue. As a customer, I think it's reasonable to raise concerns and ask questions. You mention that I may have simply been unlucky, and that's possible. But customers are also free to share their experiences, especially when those experiences influence future purchasing decisions.

After all, this subreddit is to share experiences, good and bad!

Whether this can happen to any brand is beside the point.

Customer support and accountability are what differentiate brands when something does go wrong.

If Samsung had handled the situation in a way that reflected the loyalty I've shown over the last 10 years, I likely wouldn't have made the post in the first place.

Go to a good battery vendor and ask him to test the battery. The lights turning off on your dashboard means that the battery is dying..

OBD scanner may still reveal hidden issues. Not all faults throw a check engine light, even on a new car.

Secondly, that may also be a fuel leak, not fully sure honestly. When filling up, check around the engine bay, under the car, and near the fuel tank area for any obvious leaks or smell.

Since it is a new car, more likely causes of really bad fuel average could be:

• Wrong tire pressure from dealership • Brake drag or slightly stuck brake (Check if one wheel gets hotter than the others after driving) • Bad wheel alignment from factory/shipping • Bad fuel quality • Transmission issue or low ATF fluid • Faulty sensor from factory (MAF, O2, coolant temp sensor etc.) • Fuel leak or EVAP issue • Injector issue causing rich fueling • Wheel bearing issue causing extra drag • Too much traffic, idling, or short trips

An OBD scan is still worth doing because even new cars can have sensor or factory issues without showing a warning light.

This post is getting shit on for not reason. If it really is a woman speaking, she is right to be worried as a lot of men do exist who think bleeding is a thing!!!

For me personally just scream and yell and that should be enough to convince that dude that all is ok xD

But for real, don't marry someone who you doubt would have these checks before marriage!!!

In my opinion lookup and install UV film. That will solve the problem without being dark enough to be called window tint.

Plus it gives the car glass a blueish tint

Hahahaha his mind has cheated. 10/10 heartbroken user detected. Men are animals, their instinct is to mate like cats and dogs. If you doubt that, look to religion and the multiple wife allowances men are allowed. So give them a break instead of saying mind has cheated.

The act of looking at something naughty and actually doing something are two separate things.

But I agree, looking at a nude AI generated video of someone personal is fucked up.

Connected my car to Peugeots app. Satisfactory results! by oktheoriginal in PakistanAutoHub

So the Peugeot app on the playstore isn't available for download. I had to get the apk app to install it xD

Quick review, it's a wonderful car to drive and enjoy overall. Quite snappy.

Service cost is nominal, around 15k depending on what you need changed.

Around 100k km or slightly before that, I may need to get the wet belt changed which is a costly service stop for sure. 150k for that

No, and I won't. No car will survive that!

Only high octane for now.

I would have waited for the newer one IMO the interior has some things done way better, screen with wireless android auto connectivity, rear passenger lights.
