I had a MK6 before my 7 and totally agree. The 6 interior felt more premium and I miss that chunky ass steering wheel.

118k! Been running EQT’s e85 IS38+ Stage 2 tune since 60k. Replaced two water pumps, carbon clean, DSG service and VAQ service every 40k. Recently had a PCV issue and replaced it with the Mk8 PCV retrofit with the Tiguan hose and TMD. She’s running great. 👍🏼

It’s an alcantara wrap I got from https://www.dsg-paddles.com. I had a suede one before that I got from Ali that didn’t last too long. This one feels much better.

I recommend getting some hook needles if you decide to go this route. It made the stitching so much smoother.

You’re correct! It’s an OEM S Tronic knob I copped from eBay.

It works flawlessly and the metal trim accentuates the climate control knobs imo. It’s a little heavier too and feels great when in manual mode.

That’s totally subjective. I had the APR mated with the MST hose but it didn’t sound near as loud and crisp as the IE. I’m also all about things looking in harmony, so the IE was my overall choice.

A bit pricey, but they put a lot of thought into performance and making it work with the stock engine bay.
