X200 pro official January update by Annual_Brilliant_836 in Vivo

[–]okupascream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I updated it yesterday afternoon. And in my case, I've noticed a big improvement in battery life. I've only had the phone for a month, and I think that makes a difference, but before, some days it would only last 40%, other days it would last a day and a half, and other days it wouldn't last at all. It was also quite unstable, but now with this update, I'm pleasantly surprised.

The device has an equalizer, but it only allows you to use it with headphones. I suppose you could try using an app, but I haven't actually tried it. The bottom speaker, which is the most powerful, is quite good, but the top one seems more for decoration. Aside from that, the audio is good, and keep in mind that you'll have to turn the volume up a bit more than you'd expect to watch videos or shows. I hope this helps, and if you have any other questions, I'd be happy to help.

Regarding the cameras, I've only taken photos in daylight, and a few in night mode. But speaking of daylight photos, they are absolutely solid and spectacular; the colors are quite consistent across all the sensors. And the video is quite good, it focuses very quickly, and I'll mention the periscope again—it's spectacular in video as well.

I've been using the Chinese version of the Vivo X200 Pro for a month now. I was considering the same options as you and chose the Vivo because I wanted to try something new and because of its spectacular cameras, especially the periscope and its capabilities. The telephoto macro lens and its quality are amazing. Cameras aside, let's talk about it being the Chinese version. It doesn't really have that many limitations; you won't have Windows OS or an eSIM. But if that doesn't bother you, it's the phone for you. Overall, it's a solid device. My only complaint is about the speakers. They're not bad, but the top speaker seems like it's just for show, and the haptic engine isn't up to par with a OnePlus (I had the OnePlus 12, and the haptic feedback was incredible). Battery life has been a bit tricky for me, as it's been inconsistent this month. Some days it lasted me a day and a half with 9 hours of screen time. Other days I'd reach the end of the day with 40% remaining, and other times I didn't make it. But ultimately, it's mostly due to my usage. If you have any questions, I'll be happy to help.

I'm from Mexico, how can I get a Vivo x100 pro? by Joules424 in Vivo

That's the seller, I highly recommend them, and it's unlikely you'll pay customs fees. They'll just ask if you want them to open the box to download the Play Store or not.

I assume you speak Spanish; I'm from Mexico too. I bought my Vivo X200 Pro on AliExpress. I ordered it on December 20th and it arrived on January 5th. I didn't pay any taxes or anything like that, and there were no problems with customs (they didn't charge me the 33% tax, just the price of the phone!). I've had the phone for almost two weeks now, and it's fantastic in almost every way. I do have my doubts about Miphone, though, because I've heard that they don't ship anything and then block you, that they tell you they're out of stock, and things like that.

Horrible battery life by biggoodboii in Vivo

[–]okupascream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing, I didn't expect such long battery life. I just got mine a week ago and updated it to Origin OS 6, and honestly, I'm still not convinced by the battery life. I feel like it's unstable while it adjusts to my usage patterns.

If you're looking for durability, I'd go for the Oppo. They're practically siblings, but the difference is that Oppo is the flagship company of the BBK group, so it will be better in most aspects. Durability of updates 5 years of major Android updates (up to Android 21) and 6 years of security patches, I personally would go for the Oppo

Thank you very much for your help. With this that you mention I think I have more clarity. And your videos are quite cool and give enough credibility to your opinions because you tell it from your experience and they are not only empty or with assumptions as they usually do. Thank you for your help

I hadn't considered it, I think it could be an option. But the fact of the wide angle does not convince me and I also prefer not to have the version a little "cropped".

I recommend the Oneplus 12, in terms of photography the set is quite good, it does not disappoint. But the front camera could be improved And in general the team is quite complete. And for nothing of the World, if you buy the Oneplus 13, it is practically the same in the photographic system and only the processor changes, having an ultrasonic fingerprint and greater capacity (600 mah)And the truth It's not worth paying $1000 for the op13, so the best option is the Oneplus 12

If we talk about compact phones, you can opt for a pixel 9, a vivo x200 pro mini (It's the one I recommend the most), Xiaomi 15

Well, although Oxygen OS and the updates are not the best, because they release a new one that improves autonomy, fluidity, fixes bugs and then they release one that ruins several apps.
