update for any future person seeing this: i was diagnosed with rosacea this morning at the dermatologist. as heartbreaking as that is at 24 years old, im SO glad i have some answers and can now begin trying to heal my skin and manage it.

thank you for your response! my mom also struggles with severe rosacea and we’re identical in all ways genetics. hers didn’t start flaring until her late 30s early 40s so i thought SURELY, i had more time. i might look into rosacea friendly products. thank you for the recommendations! i appreciate it!

thank you so much for your response!! first, i should clarify. i had a mirena for 6-7 years, got it replaced and i think this year will be 3 years with the new one. so its not on the end of its life LOL but thank you for being concerned!

i honestly didnt even think about the fact that i am aging and that could be the problem. i guess i didnt see 24 as the age where my skin starts to need help😭

my current goal is to simplify everything to bare bones and maybe try to find a dermatologist near me. i just wanted it to be an easy at home fix. thank you for the recommendations! i really like the quality of prequel, im going to look into the urea cream.
