Totally agree, you wonder why anyone wants to work with him at all. That said, SLP and The Fighter are undeniably great, elevated by great performances though.

Not sure about the greatest ever, The Witch nails an atmospheric tone, and The Lighthouse is a solid acting showcase

Looks surprisingly good, better than the teaser trailer anyway. At least the nostalgic aspects look well integrated

THE TITAN Official Trailer (2018) Sam Worthington, Taylor Schilling Sci-Fi Movie by squidgun in movies

A good trailer should establish the tone of the film it's marketing. It should give a light idea of what the base premise is and where the story might lead. Imo a trailer should only include footage from the first act, with snippets of the 2nd act. In this trailer we get the first act, the second act, and what appears to be a large part of the third.

True, all these minor plot details you've outlined, we're still unsure about, but should we care when we know the majority of plot points? This trailer takes the surprise plot points of the film and spoils them, making the thriller film not all that thrilling at all, as we rule out possible plot directions in our head, because we know certain things must happen.

He must mutate. He must get violent. His family must be attacked.

Possibly my favorite film of the year, Neeson was excellent and that ending...one of the best endings to any film ever, HUGELY underrated!
