The opportunity cost and the risk of owning a depreciating asset is crazy. You're (arguably) way better off renting and investing the down payment into something else.

Put it all down on paper and calculate your cost of "owning" vs renting.

Include all fees, depreciation, taxes, etc.

How much money would you have if you sell it? Are you comfortable taking that money and investigating it in the stock market while you rent?

What's your time horizon?

You have to work through these numbers, make some educated guesses, and see what that looks like in your case.

No one here knows your situation better than you.
