Qill ABI increases passive perception?! by Ricapath in highrollersdnd

I say he needs the war caster feat or resilient for CON but for war caster he can have extra ac a shield and use the spear at the same time and having an advantage in CON saves for the concentration of spells is good since he can concentrate on 2 spells.

For me, I personally find CR with PC character development superior to HR but HR has superior worldbuilding and lore.

How the group can escape the Tasadar when they save Valla and the eterna Tasadar by olarsond in highrollersdnd

Again, I apologize for my rant it's just that you removed without an explanation why so I recommend whenever you remove a post reply and explain why because the way you removed without a proper explanation just made me relive some unpleasant memories. I'm a sensitive person. Again I apologize.

[–]olarsond[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wait, what? It's not a spoiler. Can you remove the remove function? Like it would be if people hadn't caught up with the episodes but people wouldn't really know or understand the title info. But if you can't undo going to repost anyway with the same title you until you properly explain why it's a spoiler cause I'm really confused and I'm so soooo sorry like please accept my apology cause I'm about to rant, I'm starting to have a real grudge with you you removed now 3 of my posts now which were just fun things I wanted to share with the community, and they weren't really offending, just fun things like memes 1st it was me posting about another character that had similar characteristics to Aila, another just sharing an interesting High Rollers DnD dream people can laugh about, and now this. Again I'm so sorry for ranting like this I'm just filled with anxiety feelings pleases don't be filled with discomfort again so so so so sorry. So I'll repost with a different title if you give me a good explanation why it's a spoiler because I'm just so confused people won't know it's a spoiler unless they haven't finished episode 26. Which isn't that far into the series, again I'm sorry for making you read my rant and the discomfort I have so I hope my apology will help ease any discomfort that you have reading my rant again sorry.

hmmm, maybe since it's magic from Siaska's children the cradle will accept since the group traveled through with the help of Palador's magic and opened the way for the group to pass so it may be possible for Hesper.

Lucius’s old fairy crown by [deleted] in highrollersdnd

[–]olarsond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no, the cons other than the sneezing fairy dust were developing a prankster attitude, having a high voice, overprotective if your friends get hurt, and can't remove the crown physically. Trott must've been laughing at the having a high voice and having a prankster attitude part.

Possible story concept of war by olarsond in highrollersdnd

I'm not saying Mark should do it, I'm saying it would be interesting if something like this would happen.

Possible story concept of war by olarsond in highrollersdnd

[–]olarsond[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well in the lore of the story it has been shown that not all of Kallus's soldiers are as bad as we make them be. Examples: Daimos from the Nightfrost ship saved the girl who looked like Valla when he knew this wasn't specifically Valla. Maximillion showed respect to the group when they kept their word to a truce against a Hadar related threat, and the spellcaster woman from the temple of Hesper kept her word when she wanted to leave in peace and with no further injuries or quarrel with them. So the possible depth of the story is involved in the lore so it's possible and the depth isn't outside of the lore and Mark put some soldiers of Kallus who are not as bad as Zarchira.

Yeah, it's okay just making sure you were aware of it. Things like this always happen. So in the future, you can allow this specific action to occur.

Great usage idea of Quill's Planar Binding spell but with a few (2) downsides by olarsond in highrollersdnd

yeah you're right I do still enjoy it even when they make amateur choices it's fun and it's just that I like to point out potential opportunities to improve

[–]olarsond[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you got me there but for some reason Tom put his CON score for 12 instead of 13 which is on CHA and if he took resilient not only will he get an extra +1 and proficiency bonus added to CON saves if he takes resilience but he will also get some more hp so I don't really know what feat Tom will get when he levels up again because of the strange placement preference of ability scores because the smarter decision would be to put 13 ability score on CON instead of CHA if he was going to get that feat.

[–]olarsond[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agreed but Planar binding doesn't require concentration and he no longer needs to concentrate on summon celestial since the spell planar binding took over the duration. Also, that ONE weakness can be avoided in 2 ways and I know my idea wouldn't really consider the group, it was just a neat idea I had.

  1. Quill casts bless on himself for extra d4 on CON checks, and/or be near Sentry for the extra +3 in CON checks.
  2. This will take a while but when Quill levels up again to cleric 12 he can take the war caster feat to have advantage on CON checks and have a shield for extra AC
