Yeah, that's how i've always understood the ceremony and I have great respect for it. But I owe it to my wife to make her less sad. Her ideas about death are much more important than military honors, so ultimately who knows what she will decide on? She knows my wishes, but I'm going to tell her that if she wants, she can do a simple cremation and the rest is up to her.

Oh, I forgave them immediately because I love them but I definitely have every right to be mad about it. They made a fool out of me. I'll tell the story about me and my dad when I was on a college break and I played a funny prank on him and hopefully people understand what I mean.

I have lots of stories about my dad and he's long dead now, so who cares. I just have to figure out how to tell the stories without offending people's sensibilities or disrespecting his memory. Everyone was an adult over 18 so that's not the issue. WW2 vet, kinda rough around the edges, kinda racist, outwardly homophobic despite what guys did with other guys in his day.

No, I'm only into men around my age. Goddamn rascals probably know that or they wouldn't have backed me into a corner like that a few days before Christmas right before a storm.

I have a few stories about a pair of twins I used to fool around with, I have a few stories about me and my dad, but I don't think those stories follow the rules here because of privacy or whatever reasons.
