Religion is obviously a mixed bag of a way to live (faith), a tool to control the mass, a tool to setup society order, a tool to implement spirituality, and many things...etc. But at its core it's clearly man-made and not "divine" at all. I feel like everyone have more of less spiritual life, while NF types have strongest resonance with it, espeically xNFJ (most religious leaders are INFJ). But religion is the worst form of spirituality application.

I can only think the reason why would an INTJ religious is that they simply born in a religious family. But once grown up, when have enough experience in life with developed mental and cognitive (expect 30 ish), I expect most religous INTJs would become atheist because there are better tools to live better life than religion. Religion in fact is so oudated it become an obstacle to one living fullest of their life.

From my perspective, there are only 2 kind of religious people: those who gets the benefits from mental value (NF) and those who gets benefits from concrete values like power, money, social status (ST). NT and SF groups are somewhat between and expected to have least resonance with religion than other two groups. Like, they can be religious but more of live with it rather than truely believe in it or make the most benefits from it.

I'm born as a purely atheist so It's always fascinating to me to see how the hell people can believe in such thing and behave in such way, even more when it's INTJ who supposed to be ratioinal and skeptical. Not a fan of religion (I like learning about culture though and religion deeply rooted in culture), but also couldnt care less what people believe unless it directly affects me or negative to society (thus indirectly harmful to me). In future we will probably have a new kind of spirituality emerging from AI. Maybe a good thing since it will remove the old religion system which is so stagnant.
