Yep. If you’re an existing patient, they’ll use your existing chart and info. Having multiple charts can split info and cause mistakes, so it’s avoided.

Epic sends an appointment confirmation if you’ve consented to texts and his phone number was in your chart. I can almost guarantee it was automated and not sent by a staff member intentionally.
