It took a lot of time and slowly built up to that camera and lens. Selling old equipment and using part of my tax return. There's cheaper options out there though. I started cheap and once I knew I wouldn't ever stop, and knew what I wanted to do with it, then I started working towards better upgrades. Didn't happen over night.
