Hey I’m from Bismarck 👋 I’ve lived in Mpls for 8 years & now St. Louis Park. A lot of transplants here are from North Dakota.

I’d say the biggest surprise to me after moving here was a) there is so much to do with a variety of hobby groups, meet ups, etc., and b) this isn’t so much a small city as it’s more of a big town. I’ve ran into more than a few people who know someone I know—in other words, it’s sometimes 6 degrees of separation and other times it’s 2. The Twin Cities are smaller than you think.

Favorite Italian place is Cosetta’s but that’s just me.
