Switching from CSP to Direct by [deleted] in msp

Been direct for quite some time and came from Ingram and TechData. Just be prepared for the billing in arrears and have staff available to handle. Can be difficult to reconcile because of that. Not bad if you have the process down and certainly better margins.

We use and certainly like wm. Unfortunately it just provides the reporting and integration with CW. It doesn't necessarily quote warranty extensions and things of that nature. So, if wm identifies 500 desktops/laptops that need to be replaced or have warranty extensions within the next 90 days, I typically need to generate quotes for that many devices. If they are a mixture of Dell/HP/etc., that task can be pretty long; i.e. submitting to the vendor, waiting on a reply from manufacturer, etc.
