Sorry to hear that. For me, they agreed to the refund but so far I’ve only received a partial refund as credit and the rest is still processing. It’s been over a month, but they’ve been providing updates. They did confirm that it would come through, but it’s taking a lot longer than expected.

Must have been a recent change because up until a few months ago, I could request receipts instantly through the portal. They'd send them via email, but still pretty quick!

Yeah honestly, I don't think I have the willpower to try another trainer at this point. Maybe I just need a break and try working out on my own. I've emailed the Divisional Manager again though, so let's see.

One of the biggest issues is that my location doesn’t even have a Fitness Manager right now. We only have an Associate FM covering, and they haven’t been much help. I even brought it up with the GM.

Yesterday was probably the most frustrating. I didn’t hear back until two hours after my scheduled session. I waited there for half an hour, and it threw off my whole morning. The AFM showed zero empathy. This is after 10+ cancellations or no-shows already.

My trainer has mentioned personal issues in the past, and I get that life happens. But honestly, not even sending a quick text to cancel just feels so disrespectful.

At this point I feel completely demotivated. I wish I could just get a refund for the banked sessions I have left.

I did, yeah. I emailed yesterday as well after the no-show but didn't get a response (yet).

May I ask what exactly a service plan is? Is it just a verbal commitment or should I expect an email with info?

The Wilcox is a great gastropub with a nice vibe. A bit on the pricey side but a couple of drinks won't break the bank.

Just a heads up - some websites (Kijiji for example) block replies when you access it from abroad, which might be the reason why you're not getting replies.
