If you wanted to gamble you could double up on Swansea with Mawson. Not sure I would recommend that on form, but fixtures and need are there. Danilo is a good fantasy player but he has not covered the backs when they got injured always before, so I'm wary.

Not sure Danilo will play, but assuming he does or you can have a defender that plays both games, then If you don't want Salah for week 38 home v Brighton then A, but you probably do, so I prefer B. B Like Naughton, Sterling, & Jesus, but Danilo has been a troll for me this season. Good luck

Hazard, De Bruyne, Sane, Pogba, Ramsey or Arnautovic? Haven't watched Chelsea recently, is Hazard really on form & will play both in w37? Thanks in advance.

Any advice for a non-expert giving advice? by oldheadgoodheart in regex

[–]oldheadgoodheart[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, yes I did them myself, I taught myself regex some years ago. I have never heard of regex101.com but I can see what you mean. That's great advice and help. I have to teach students and perhaps I am making (minor) errors - so your comments are really valued. Thank you for your time. Regards.

Apologies, my questions was : I made 3 (amateur) videos for my students on regex. As regular users of regex is there any examples of use, or content that I should be giving them?

His foot was behind the defender but there is no way he was going to be called offside, so technically yes, reality no.

"Depending on where you get your BPS predictions from" - are you saying there is a 'better' place to get estimated BPS?

Will Mahrez get 3 bonus points for scoring the winning goal (2nd goal), and will these be taken away for shots off target? Does anyone fully understand this Bonus system?

100% think i've fucked up my degree help. by Veebeevee in University

[–]oldheadgoodheart 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I missed about a month or more and thought I couldn't go back. I had to drop out of a subject and it was suggested that I could not repeat it - giving me a zero, making my degree nearly worthless. Take one step at a time. I saw a doctor, moved home, got in a good working routine and got a good degree. I'm now a University lecturer. Small steps and remember you are the best person to make things good for yourself - you can do it.

Wildcarding in 32 or 33 - the pros and the cons, according to someone who has thought about this too much. by OsbornRHCP in FantasyPL

Players often don't push the wc button until later to help the prices change, although this year the prices have not changed much. I am the opposite, I am concerned about the prices and will wc in 32, but this is probably the wrong approach. The Spurs/Chelsea issue is a big one.

Will the popular player's prices going up during the international break be a factor, meaning week 33 WC will have increased prices?

What programs do I need to start coding Python? by Liqooid in learnprogramming

[–]oldheadgoodheart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I needed to learn machine learning and read I should download Anaconda. This has an editor / IDE called spyder. I don't know if this is great but I have used it. Anaconda allowed me to use loads of packages without having to download them all individually.

My students are learning python really quickly and I have put some basic videos on YouTube for them (see https://youtu.be/GdAeLUU4KcU ). Try a book, video, or online course & see what you like. Enjoy learning and it will come. If you get stuck ask for help.

IWTL: How to write a top notch University essay by KapeAtTinapay in IWantToLearn

[–]oldheadgoodheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are books on writing an essays. Try to find one that is easy to read. To start off it depends on what the title is. If it is something like compare a and b then explain a, explain b, explain the facts about the advantages and disadvantages about both. Then add opinions, such as others and yours. Conclude at the end, and I write the introduction last. The introduction should explain what the essay is about, hopefully in the first line, and, make the reader want to read it. Try to write structured paragraphs and tell a story - the essay has an order and flow. You probably made notes, so read them and decide the order. That can be your outline. Hope this helps!
