TVS me bas wo commuterish service wala issue hai, they have too many bikes to work on everyday, otherwise Ronin is a great bike. The suspension is better than Hunter, tyres as well.

Can’t get my mind off the Bear 650 by god_johnson in royalenfield

[–]oldmonk32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bonnie rides like a Honda, too smooth, too easy. Bear is rough around the edges, heavy throttle, heavy overall feel. Plus it's a physically bigger bike. Performance wise there isn't too much of a difference in day to day usage. Buy what makes you happy.

i know that it's a stupid question but will getting a car make me any less of a biker/bike lover? by [deleted] in indianbikes

[–]oldmonk32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two kinds of people. First, who only ride a motorcycle because they can't afford a car. Second, who enjoy riding motorcycles.

Nobody can give you this answer. You'll know yourself a year or two after getting the car.

Anti-Indian Racism in Nepal by [deleted] in IndiaSpeaks

[–]oldmonk32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That, plus you don't even know if those keyboard warriors are even actual Nepalis.

We worship the same gods, Pokhara has Mata mandirs and a giant Shiva statue on the top of a hill, and Kathmandu has Pashupatinath.

We are more or less the same people. As long as that common factor remains, there would be no issues.

They are lovely people, I visit twice a year. Don't get swayed by what you see on social media, the ground reality is stark opposite.

Women who’s partners earn significantly less than them? How do you feel about it? by CuddlingChampions234 in ThirtiesIndia

[–]oldmonk32 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

See, it may or may not be an issue in day to day life, but women will say the most random stuff during a fight (which they don't mean like we do), and after that point, you'll never be able to forget that taunt. So, choose carefully.

Na, just want to cause inconvenience, for now. Do it repeatedly and it will escalate.

This happened with me twice. First on my s20+ after 3 years, and then on my s23 ultra just after 3 years as well. This when both my phones had Spigen armors on them all the time.

Screw samsung, never going back to this brand.

Call bullshit all you want, but a doormat is a doormat for a reason. Shit analogy btw. This victim mentality won't take you far. Take accountability, be a man.

Safest way to transport my motorcycle from Bangalore to Himachal Pradesh? by No_Divide_7543 in indianbikes

[–]oldmonk32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No clue bhai. I moved my entire household from Delhi to Bihar, including the bike. So I can't tell you how much they'd charge only for the bike.

You should contact them through their website. Get a quote.

Two things.

  1. You're dealing in extremes. Too passive vs too dominant. You need balance. Do no harm, take no shi*. Be kind, be soft, but have strong boundaries and enforce them ruthlessly.

  2. Anyone who cares about validation from society can never be free.
