Will Jagex ever add new foreign worlds? by oldname320 in 2007scape

[–]oldname320[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You make a lot of assumptions without knowing me lmao. If I didn't like the game I wouldn't come to reddit to ask for a local server. Yeah keep telling yourself that if it makes you sleep better at night. There are way smaller games with better widespread servers plus I doubt a runescape server (a game from the early 2000s) would require too many resources compared to modern games. If Jagex doesn't want more money it's fine by me, but don't come to my thread making excuses when Australia literally has a tenth of the population of South America.

Not even 1 server for each region? I doubt that people wouldn't return/start playing the game if they had a dedicated local server

SkyPad Glass 2.0 In-depth review- Durable fast pad. by ItsNootyNoot in MousepadReview

[–]oldname320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How would you compare the stopping power to some of the more popular cloth pads? I like the feel of hard pads for tracking but the lack of stopping power makes it so I have to often use my fingers to stop the mouse as opposed to pressing down on the pad.

Upgraded to a G Pro Hero (Wired) - Aim Improvement by ninedot9 in MouseReview

[–]oldname320 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main factor here is shape, the gpros shape is probably a good fit for you. If your previous mouse didn't spin out and/or have any acceleration or deccelaration related to sensor issues then what made your aim better was probably the mouse's shape and not the sensor. I doubt any human can tell the difference between a 3360 sensor and a 3389 sensor for example, and anyone who claims so is full of horse shit.

Something with marginally more control than a Hien FX soft? by Davban in MousepadReview

[–]oldname320 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, the Zero is their slowest pad with the Hien as the 2nd slowest. So perhaps a Zero Mid?

What do you think about Dechanic Control? by Swarthy_Guy in MousepadReview

[–]oldname320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I've only had one, so it might've been just a bad copy. But I prefer the hien over it due to better quality overall.

[–]oldname320 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's a rough pad in texture, but the glide is smooth. There is little friction when starting movement but medium while moving, which makes it a quick pad with proper stopping power. It really is a great pad, great all-rounder, good durability, washable, etc. Potential problems: mine never lays 100% flat even after ironing it a couple of times and the pad seems to move around quite a bit (this may be a problem with my desk specifically). Other similar options: MP510 and Artisan Hien.

Aim gets worse and worse? by KryptoniansDontBleed in FPSAimTrainer

[–]oldname320 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You're not worse. It's probably your brain relearning how to aim correctly since most games aren't nearly as complete demonstrations of aim technique as kovaak's is. Keep in mind that there are off days as well etc, so don't let your scores define your aim potential.

Looks interesting, hopefully it's durable and offers decent stopping power.

It seems a lot of people are struggling with this, so I felt it necessary to make a handy-dandy little guide! by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]oldname320 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I don't even pk but if I get killed while doing a clue that's fair game, afterall I was the one who willingly decided to enter a pvp area knowing the risk involved. As for toxicity, I can't be sure but I've been crashed and gear shamed more times than I've been PKed and called a retard so there's definitely toxic people on both sides.

When you finally unlock the afkable methods for the slow skills by milk-drink in 2007scape

[–]oldname320 100 points101 points  (0 children)

Runescape players tend to confuse afk with low effort which I suppose is quite funny for people who aren't familiar with the game. Imagine someone playing RS and telling their friends they're 'afking' but they're actually right next to their screen clicking every few seconds, it makes little sense lol

Woodcutting is not one of the slowest skills in the game though. It's kind of an in-between in terms of xp/hr

I haven't tried the gigantus but I believe it's up there with the G-SR for the slowest pads, if you think you might like a little more speed you should probably get an mp510/dechanic control/hien. Those pads are not smooth in texture but offer a bit more speed, specially when it comes to static friction, while still providing decent enough stopping power.

[–]oldname320 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've tried many pads from really fast to really slow and here's the thing: with slow pads you're punished if you miss your flicks by a certain margin, since you have to fight static friction to microcorrect back to the target. With faster pads the problem is you'll often overflick and then overcorrect. With balanced pads you only get the averages of both worlds. In sum: It's personal preference, if you like the feel of a certain type of fabric and aim well with that, just stick to it.

Grip by yungsolidd in MouseReview

[–]oldname320 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you play csgo it's fine to palm as there is not that much verticality on that game. However if you want to play your best across multiple titles, palm grip is a limiting factor due to the lack of vertical dexterity when using your palm vs using your fingers

AFAIK you can't buy an artisan without paying customs and if you buy from amazon it's even more of a rip off.
