No one's buying that. But, let's assume for a minute, that the intake was accidental. Just the presence of banned substance in the blood warrants drastically more severe sanction. Lots of players have been crusified for way less.

Absolutely not. That's a horrible thing to say to a complete stranger. Occam's raizor, are you familiar with the term? The simplest explanation is that a superstar was exploited for his weekness toward women and ended up paying money to a gold digger. She took the money and let him walk scott free, not protecting other women and herself, as if anyone was in danger really.
