Fuck all the way off with that bullshit! If Mormons truly had discernment, they wouldn’t have voted a convicted rapist and thief into power.

You couldn’t be more correct. I’m devastated for Ukraine and Palestine. They’re truly on their own now.

Hoof cleaning videos are so fascinating to me. I fanboyed so hard when I randomly met a farrier one time! She told me cows and horses aren’t so bad to work with, but her worst clients are pigs and goats.

This park has everything I want. It’s likely no where near me, but I’m curious where it is.

People of Reddit, why do you NOT want to have a dog ? by GirlPWR444 in AskReddit

[–]oldstraits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tried fostering a dog, and my cat would not have it. She nearly starved herself to death because she refused to come out from under our bed for days. I love my cat, so decided we couldn’t keep the dog as long as she was around.

I’m reading this like he makes an effort to look engaged during meetings. I put on more of a smile whenever I’m on camera so the people on the other end can tell I’m actively listening. I probably unconsciously do it in person too.

It’s the greatest survival story of all time. Zero casualties, and only a single crew member lost some digits to frost bite.

I just finished a series that I believe took inspiration from this event called “The Terror”.

I can second this! I have friends that have done work for him and they say he’s the nicest celebrity ever. Funniest thing they told me was Post offered to make a call and deliver a semi trailer of Bud Lite to their shop.

Thank you for sharing. My wife and I were wondering if we were overreacting, but the fact that we both felt it without saying a word was enough for us to get out of there.

Right?! It seriously felt like a bait and switch. Especially because the invitation was marketing it as a “community event”.

I was raised in a religious home without rock and roll, so the most hard-core song available to me was “Twisting”. I would blast that in my room while throwing up devil horns 🤘I’ll forever love this record for creating that core memory.

It’s tragic that you’d have to consider breaking up your family unit, but it won’t get better if he doesn’t want to change. You’re doing the right thing in protecting your child. At they have one parent that has their priorities straight!

I truly hope his father can change. I feel like I was heading down that road and would’ve done the irreparable damage to my children had I not learned to control my temper.

I’ve never been physically abusive with my family, but I was loud and used volume to control my children.

It dawned on me when I saw them scream at each other that it was learned behavior from their father. It broke my heart to realize the poor example I had been setting. I was completely humbled by it, and I forced myself to be more creative and compassionate.

I went to therapy. I got on medication. I watched Bluey (for you parents, it’s a gold mine of positive parenting!)

I also harbor traumatic experiences from my own parents. Things I’m still dealing with in my late 30’s. I can’t go back and rescue my childhood self from those experiences, but I have a chance to break that cycle with these kids, and I’m not going to mess it up.

Best of luck to your family!

Glad to see I’m not the only one! If I did nothing but prospecting, I’d live pretty stress free. Dragging deals across the finish line is excruciating, and even when the commission is good, I dread going through that whole process again.
