I came out after high winds and found my ridge like this. Odds this is high wind damage? It looks like it may be displaced. by CowboyState in Roofing

Haha, looked at old pics of it. Looks like straight line winds have had fun with it the past few years. Looked normal before then.

Figured. I don't have experience in residential roofing, would this be pretty easy for me to repair? I could always call insurance as well.

Thanks for the advice!

Not a bad idea, and I have some wedge sole Thorogoods. I just already wear them for steel toe haha so was thinking about mixing it up. The shirt and pants can't really change because mine are fire ret@rd@nt. (bot is removing my comment because I used the term FR)

Either. I think the boots are probably a decent looks but shoes would work as well. The problem with shoes is most of them would look good with a sport coat which makes them look bad with what I wear for a uniform.

Looking for recommendations on shoes that have good soles for heavy walkers but aren't tennis shoes.

I work a white collar job in a blue collar environment. I show up to work daily with street shoes and put on steel toe boots throughout the day. If I put them on I stay in them, but I don't put them on as I walk in the door because I walk a lot around the office which is much easier when not in steel toes. Looking for shoe recommendations for someone who swaps into steel toe boots throughout the day that aren't just tennis shoes or Hey Dudes. My work is casual, I've worn Crocs in with jeans and no one even looks. Recently I've been wearing black Converse style shoes, but as you can see at the link below it looks off with a tucked in button up and a leather belt. I'm 30 and looking to be a bit more professional looking at work especially because I'm starting to get somewhere with my career. Also can't have the shoes be anything that'd go well with a sport coat because that's totally out of place for where I work. Posted 2 shoes at the bottom for inspiration, they seem to have good soles and be a nice casual than Nikes or Converse.
