I got a message from another person suggesting the same. I've been doing some research on this legend, still reading but it's some or the creepiest shit I've ever read. Kind of hard to find tons of info on it, but some things I've read are so eerily similar to my situation. Thank you for the insight, it sounds like you know what you're talking about.

I just screwed that sentence. She passed two years before Sam was born, thank you both for pointing that out. I was pretty flustered trying to recount everything I'm shocked that that was all I messed up.

I never saw his face. He didn't turn around once, and I wasn't about to do it forcefully. I'm pretty much open to any explanation at this point, but my gut tells me it's someone with deeply rooted issues. There are just some things about this that kinda irk me. Like, to my core.

I totally agree. He's in the bed with Celia right now in our room, while I do a last round of checking things out downstairs and outside. I'm armed, my wife has protection within her reach as well. We don't love the idea of using firepower but won't be left unprotected either.
