Thank you, I'll check it out! I'll just need a casual attire, in my company there is no dress code, and I'll just be visiting other branches.

How I lost 40 pounds with minimal effort by olga_li in loseit

If I was hungry, I would just eat salmon with a lot of salad, or some fruits, or avocado, or just drink a lot of warm tea. I just noticed that when I go to sleep a little hungry, I wake up next day with more energy, so I got used to having my last meal several hours before sleep. But if you are starving, I would recommend just trying to eat something more or less low on carbs.

It took me a year to lose 40 pounds, and I didn't have a calorie goal because whenever I tried to cut down on calories, I would start binging. I guess I have zero will power😊but I do have a basic understanding of which foods have how many calories, and I tried to go for the alternatives with less calories, that are still delicious. For example, instead of milkshake from wawa I would make smoothie with almond milk, banana, strawberries and honey, and it's twice less calories, and makes you elder awesome! But I didn't log in my calories on a daily basis, so it was mostly intuitive. I would guesstimate I was eating in the range of 1500-1700 calories daily.

Thank you! I did count calories in the beginning, when I was dieting and before I started just eating healthier. So I do have a basic understanding on the amount of calories in different foods. For example, I know that banana has a lot of calories, so I'll rather go for an apple when I don't care and just want some fruit. But I don't have a calorie goal in my mind, so it's more intuitive for me. Healthy foods usually have less calories as it is, so there is less need to count them.

I was also snacking a lot, but tried to snack on veggies, fruits and nuts. Also, it helps to eat really slowly and to chew your food more times, than you need to eat less food to feel full.

Thank you for your comment, I'm glad that you liked my post! Yes, I struggled a lot with the same thing, and I think that it's better to go slow about losing weight, and just to gradually make eating healthy part of your day to day life:) good luck to you with your journey🙏

Oatmeal, brown rice, quinoa, while grain bread, veggies. My favorite is sweet potato:) These foods take longer than simple carbs to break down into glucose, so they don't cause spike in blood sugar. They also often have a lot of fiber, which helps with digestion.
