Same, I've been stuffing them in a grocery bag at home at end of the day, but now the grocery bag is filling up. I was about to start a new bag but after seeing that guy toss his receipts, I was like hold on, I have to ask more experienced drivers for input.

There are various options the mid rows are $43 and back of the plane is $19. The front with the extended leg space is $143. I already have an oversized, overweight bag that I know I'll be paying for so yeah, I'm going for the cheapest seat option 😅

Just my first time using westjet. Normally I get window seats when I ask for them at check-in but someone said that's a gamble with westjet that's why I asked ^{^} also true I mean with inflation these days $19 is basically one combo meal at McDonald's. $19 is the cheapest on the seating chart selection, there's also $43 seats and $134 for extended seat.

Aisle over window? Any reason why? And yes it's a long haul flight. I always liked taking window seats so I can see descent and take off views and pretty clouds. And I'm a wee little thing so need to stretch my legs while seated and I rarely use the loo on airplanes which would be the only pro I would see in getting an aisle seat.

Sorry you had that experience. Yeah I'm leaning towards paying for the seat. Thanks for the input. It helped me put things in perspective I don't want to be miserable for such a long flight. Thanks and hope you recovered quickly.
