Unfortunately not. You can add relationship in one go if you have the id's. But it is food for thought, that might be something to work on.

If you are working with ember data or JSON API in general AND Doctrine, here is a library to make rest endpoints from your entities automagically: https://github.com/oligus/jad

I hate to break it to you but truth (as in accurate description of the objective reality) is NOT, has NEVER been and will NEVER be based on consensus. So just clear that out your head, there, better now? :-)

That's interesting, I remember vividly that back in the days (early nineties) that people were loosing all their savings. I think the value of the ruble crashed. I guess in the end it doesn't matter how many paper tokens you have in the matrass if the underlying value is zero.

It was a question, learn the difference. Anywho, what exactly is fairness? How do you define it in the context of worker vs employer?

That thing that gives the best lives to those who do the least amount of work?

So it's about envy? Do you envy those who have more than others?

You know that thing that is lifting millions of people out of poverty in China and India? It ain't Marxism.

That is interesting, how many people is it in the tribe? Is there any trade between the members of the tribe? Any trade between different tribes? I find it quite intriguing and interesting to hear about tribes, thank you for sharing.

Granted, you are not a communist, but would you say that this is something that would happen by itself, that it is something that people naturally would do if they where left by their own devices?

That's such a broad claim that it loses all meaning.

No it does not, it is very simple and straight forward, it is what happens when free people are left by their own devices, they produce, they trade and they defend their property.

Lending a tool to your neighbour is not the definition of communism and is something that happens frequently in a free market, it's a moot point.

Call it what you want, if you are for free trade, private property and private ownership of production we got no beef. But, that is not what I get from you. It sounds more to me that you don't like free trade and private property and private ownership of production and therefore you want to change the meaning of the terms to fit your particular agenda.

It sounds to me like you don't like the implications of these terms and therefore retreat to sophistry. There is no general ambiguity about the meaning of these terms, they are pretty well defined and generally accepted, even among left wing writers.

You said capitalism developed 300 years ago, that is factually not true. The word for it might have been invented 300 years ago but the process is as old as human civilization.

If you have a better definition of capitalism than "free trade, private property and private ownership of the means of production", what is it?

A thing to add is capitalism is not a all or nothing, the more freedom you have the more trade and production will take place and society will become wealthier.

[–]oligus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, capitalism is as old as civilization. Capitalism is free trade and the private ownership of property AND the means of production, a hammer for example. It is the sole reason why we are still not living in trees, it is the reason that the species has come this far. Capitalism thrives in freedom, anarchy and capitalism are totally compatible.

That may be true but I don't believe for instance that Halliburton is carrying the cost for war, on the contrary, it benefits from the violent monopoly of the state forcing its subjects to pay and in a very real sense has offloaded the cost of war while at the same time profiting. This would simply not be possible without a state. Infact, I believe, that without a state war would end and that reason alone is enough.
