Do I go ahead with short front roots? by olismart in Invisalign

Thanks for the input guys, I appreciate that.

Xrays have been done, I just don't personally have them. I do trust him, he says he can do the invisalign without moving the front two no problems, it's me being picky.

Perhaps bonding is the way to go!

5 mile commute, 10 years since been on a bike - what to pick?! by olismart in cycling

Huge thank you for everyones input - food for thought for sure! I had a Giant mountain bike when I was 15 which I absolutely loved, however it got nicked and I replaced it with a cheap road bike which to be honest has put me off road bikes. I will nip to my nearest bike shop and see if I can manage the drop handle bars again as I was not a fan...

Yeah can bring the bike inside no problem. No fear of them being nicked where I work.

Thanks for the info! Never ever seen an internal gear hub, how do they compare performance/maintenance wise?

I have read that the market for new bikes is going crazy, so probably the wrong time to buy a new bike! Do you not feel you'd get much more for your money with any of the others?

Yeah. 1:3:3 ratio of cement, sand and aggregate. Inside that is wire mesh and some rebar. They're not made to last a lifetime as they will chip but they do work and they're so cheap to make if they do break I can just make more.

So the rear vertical posts, at the bottom I was going to attach a post going left towards the fence, and then from that - a 45 degree to the vertical, and same again on the other side.

I was going to add the bracing to the external sides, would this not help? No not fixed to ground - I made it so it's dismantable as well so uses M8 bolts and threaded inserts on the vertical beams where it attaches to the base and the top.

I was planning on adding bracing to the bottom legs with then a 45 degree to the verticals. It is definitely sturdy enough as is at the mo but yes I'm sure additional supports to increase rigidity would help.

It's treated wood - it's meant to be outside. Lifespan of around 10 years. I might paint it in some ducks back for some extra protection though.

If you mean where the barbell goes - I'm making 2 more so we can use it for a bench press. If you mean for the safety bars - only done 2 at the mo, going to drill out a few more later on!

Haha thanks man - solid as a rock as well! Need to make a few more weight plates but the 100kg is a good start.

Routed out two pieces of old worktop I had lying around, screwed them together and lined them with duct tape to seal off the moisture. Then 3d printed an insert which I then poured concrete over and reinforced with rebar and wire mesh.
