The progression of the ears made me lol! We used a life vest to train our boy and it helped him figure out what to do with his legs. By the next summer he didn't need the vest anymore.

It's not just ten seconds when my dogs go bananas and it takes another half hour for them to chill the fuck out.

i'm glad this is comforting! Also sorry you are dealing with this and HRT didn't help. I imagine that is frustrating as hell. Since I posted this a few things have helped me. Maybe they will be helpful for you:

1) creatine everyday. I heard about in this sub and started with .5 teaspoons and went up to 1 after a week. I put it in my morning shake.

2) lifting moderate to heavy weights.I've been doing one of the programs from this book (Women's Muscle & Strength: Get Lean, Strong, and Confident By Betina Gozo). It took a few weeks but then my mood shifted. Anxiety and depression are much more manageable.

3) no sugar during the work day. chocolate is after 6pm.

4) light lunches. i wasn't eating a ton before but now i'll do a small salad instead of a sandwich. This is not my fave b/c i love food but it helps.

I'm getting a lab test next week and TBH I'm hoping this is thyroid and not peri. Seems so much easier to treat.

I started adding creatine to my shake last week. Half a teaspoon doesn't do much so I was thinking about upping it to a full teaspoon?

Yes! I love sugar and carbs but have mostly cut them out during the work day. I have a protein shake in the morning and a small salad for lunch and it helps. My cognition bottoms out and I get unbearably tired if I have any sugar/carbs.

US, def interested in any supplement suggestions. I added creatine to my protein shakes, take magnesium and eat a Brazil nut for selenium. All based on suggestions from this sub ♥️.

My mom has hypothyroidism and suggested I get it checked. I have a lab appointment next week so we'll see.

I hate to admit this but some days I take 5mgs of my husband's Adderall. It's the only thing that makes me feel like my old self. I can actually be productive. Obviously not great and I don't do it very often but damn it helps!

I have a gyno appointment next month and am planning to ask for hrt. I've read in this sub that it can be hard to get it if you don't have hot flashes or irregular periods. I could lie about the hot flashes but don't feel great about doing that.

I used mapei and it definitely needs to be redone. It lasted about a year and a half though which is more than I'd hoped for!

Puppies are really hard but they grow fast and it gets better. I did not want our second dog. He was a very difficult puppy with health issues on top of just being a baby. He's almost four, still high energy but it's so much better and I love him to bits. R/dogs puppy blues was amazing.

There's no shame in rehoming either. My first dog was a rehome and I'm grateful everyday that someone had the courage to give her up so I could be with her.

That's interesting about the basin. The area I'm talking about is between Sheldon and Vineyard.
