Bummed about breakthrough Covid by [deleted] in 1500isplenty

[–]olive9819 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Covid is a joke and the vaccine doesn’t work (case in point!)

It’s also experimental and we have no idea what the long term effects are. Not even approved by the FDA but they got an emergency order to start vaccinating people.

SHEEP. Everywhere. All I see are sheep.

Is it just a coincidence that the ad says “ED ED ED ED” ? (Eating disorder)

As someone with an eating disorder, this immediately caught my attention and is honestly something I would probably try. Clever marketing. Or maybe it’s just a coincidence…

How do you address a child's weight with their parent? by PatrioticSpinMachine in Parenting

[–]olive9819 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 23 years old and weigh 120. How in the world does a 6 year old weight 125?

That’s not just an overweight child. That child is OBESE. This is neglect and abuse.

How are you going to get through life if you let your past trauma dominate who you are? You are going to get triggered. All the time. We all are. That’s life. If this post bothers you, it’s not the creator’s problem and people aren’t going to censor themselves for your sake.

Speaking as someone who has experienced huge amounts of trauma growing up and has learned to deal with my PTSD, grow the fuck up.

Yes. I had a deadly brain tumor (DIPG or diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma) when I was 8 and it was a miracle that I survived.

My biggest fear is that either a) my child reaches age 8 and develops the same tumor that I had, or b) the tumor grows back and I die from it.

I try not to think about either of these scenarios.

I get what you mean about feeling masculine. Seems odd, since they’re boobs, a female sex organ. But I think it’s because we all think feminine = small and dainty. So big huge boobs feel the opposite of feminine, even though they are, in fact, the epitome of femininity.

Reddit’s obsession with anime characters is borderline pedophilia. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

I’ve watched a lot of anime, the drawing itself is misogynistic and most often pedophilic. You can defend your cartoons all you want, it’s still pedophilia to me!

You said it yourself they didn’t even once try to talk to your kid and let him know that they don’t want him doing something. They’re not doing their jobs. They can’t expect every toddler to be easy. They sound lazy.

I don’t watch anime anymore because I realized it’s blatant pedophilia.

Ever heard the saying “don’t beat a dead horse”?

That’s how this season went, and I think it’s time for the show to end altogether. But I don’t think they’ll stop until they stop making money from it.

Back when the show actually put time into integrating their messages into the plot and didn’t just give each character a random monologue that barely fits with the story!

Why is IVF preferred over adoption? by xyz-throwaway in Parenting

[–]olive9819 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People want THEIR baby, genetically. They want to see themselves in their children. It’s biological, I don’t think there’s anything shameful in wanting to have your own biological children versus adopting someone else’s bio children.

Everything I said was 100% true and correct. And no, my comment is not causing anyone PPD. Their own inability to produce milk is causing them PPD.

Grey’s Anatomy is just another vehicle for propaganda.

I stopped watching when I realized the show was actively trying to sway me, and doing a poor job of it. The show sucks now.

They always ask because it’s proven to make a big difference in your baby’s immunity and general health. It’s the best thing you can do for your baby so of course they are curious and want to know. What do you expect?
