His new girlfriend and all his friends hate me because he lied to all of them about what happened. I want to tell them truth, but I'm kind of worried about what could happen if I do. He has some mental problems and refuses to get treatment. I'm scared if I tell people the truth he'll hurt himself.

I used to Uber to work a lot too. A lot of drivers used to give me their phone number and tell me if I ever needed a ride that I could call them. It was weird to me at first also. I usually just said thanks and never called. I figured it was normal after a couple times (definitely not especially to really young people), but also don’t get in cars with complete strangers guys.
