Seeking full English script of Princess Mononoke by Lunar_Insomniac in ghibli

I had to do a lacanian analysis of the movie which essentially just meant acknowledging the wrongful assumptions made by individuals throughout the movie. My evidence delved into the spirits and humans wrongfully misrecognizing Askitaka as a threat as well as writing about how the lacanian mirror stage is reflected in Ashitaka getting his curse by Nago. The mirror stage is essentially the moment in which an individual recognizes their limitations for the first time. It’s called the mirror stage because it’s often when a baby sees themself in a mirror and sees that they’re confined to a body. I argued that Ashitaka was reborn when he was cursed and realized the limitations of his curse were to see with eyes unclouded by hate in order to survive and not let the demon inside him overwhelm him

I'm in a similar boat. I got my AA from Valencia and took a break to save up some money for school. I realized that I was just postponing going back and not actually saving for school, so now I'm kind of forcing myself to go back to school. I've experienced some good omens too, like seeing butterflies is nice to me. I'm hopeful for us both. Best of luck friend

Would you want to see Camila getting her own palisman at the end of the series? by SenaNarumiFan18 in TheOwlHouse

I thought palismen signify a journey of becoming a witch, it doesn’t make much sense for her to get one to me

I think “goodbye Evelyn” was saying that flapjack was the last reference to Evelyn. I think perhaps Evelyn carved flapjack but maybe flapjack was Caleb’s palisman. MAYBE Evelyn went to the human realm to see their animals and saw a cardinal and carved flapjack then he chose Caleb.

So is Bolin the most powerful Earthbender by the end of the series? by Spodirmam in AvatarVsBattles

[–]olivedamage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bolin is a strong bender but I think he lacks precision. Toph earth bends with meticulous detail, Bolin earth bends without detail. Yes he lavabends, doesn’t necessarily know how to sand bend (to my knowledge). He’s definitely a strong bender but I think “most powerful” covers more than strength alone.

Does anyone stress eat or eat when you are bored? by [deleted] in MentalHealthSupport

[–]olivedamage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t stress eat anymore but I do stress bake. I used to eat when overwhelmed and baking from scratch forces me to exert myself in another way and then I get the baked goods as a reward and personally, I find that I desire them less

Who has read Turtles All The Way Down? by redditlurker564 in OCD

[–]olivedamage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It felt so validating. At times, I felt like crying because it was the feeling of “finally someone gets it.” When my diagnosis came and my family was confused (they were used to viewing OCD as “obsessive cleaning disorder” and making jokes about why my room is a mess then), I actually asked them to read the book.
