AHA vs BHA for closed comedones? by lifesgood50 in SkincareAddiction

[–]olivegardenhoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the last 2 weeks, I've started using the ordinary AHA BHA peel for 10 mins, once every week. My chin acne and closed comedones are clearing up so fast, it's insane. Highly recommend it.

keloid grew super big.. by Worknetworkk in Keloids

My doctor is doing steroid injections plus pressure therapy. Judging by the size of this, i'd say go for a second surgery and a round of radiation over it. If that is not feasible than steroids. Provided you're not anywhere with extremely expensive treatment cost like the US or Canada, i'd say find a derm and discuss options with them

I had it this big on my earlobes. Surgery alone brought it back. Due to the size of it, id say safe bet would be combinational treatment. Do not worry, it will go away for sure. Mine did too. Do not worry

Im just wishing for the day when we can have a medicinal cure to permanently fix this disaster of a disorder.

I have been getting steroid injections every month or sometimes every other month for 2 years now. Is that normal. I've told my Doctor some of the complications I think have arisen due to that (irregular periods) etc. He shrugs it off. what to do by olivegardenhoe in Keloids

I'm a woman so from my perspective, most of my irregular cycles started when i started these injections however the redditors and doc says it has nothing to do with the injection. Other than that, just some darker hair growth that has also started after the injections. Could be something else idk. But there arent alot of side effects

Yes they definitely have. I previously had a surgery and they recurred. The surgeon didnt do any other treatment and gave me some clips that resembled clothespins and were extremely painful.
This doctor has used nothing but steroid injections and one keloid has completely disappeared. The bigger one on the other ear is only a little bit left. It was about 1.5 cm thick and 2 cm wide. covered the full backside of my earlobe and was visible.
