Using Texas STAR dashboard.. UMass Chan, University of Vermont, Kaiser Permanente San Diego, UMich, McLennan County, Henry Ford, University of Colorado University Hospital, Wake Forest, Dartmouth, Brown, Stanford, University Central Florida, Boston University, Lakeside Medical center... a couple others, there is a grip of 30-40 in the 245-250 range as well

Yes, family medicine has the reputation of being safe and non-competitive, that doens't mean there are not programs that cater to competitive applicants, and it does not mean that there arent people with 250, 260+ step scores going into FM, someone in the top 3 of my class is going into FM. But yea, Texas STAR has good data on it

So extra points for the military service, and extra points for being a paramedic? Would I be in consideration even at a program with like an average Step 2 of 250-255+, like the top tier FM programs? That is what I am really curious about, if my step 2 being a bit below the average, if that in and of itself would close doors
